Dr Chris Parnell | MBChB (Hons) BMedSc FRCA
ABOUT ME
I completed my undergraduate medical training at the University of Birmingham, graduating with Honours in 2013, and earning academic distinction in biomedical sciences. Throughout my clinical career spanning over a decade, I have received awards for clinical excellence and have been instrumental in developing enhanced recovery pathways for patients. My work has been presented at national and international conferences, and has been published on iron deficiency and fatigue.
My passion for physiology, anatomy, and applied sciences was recognized when I was awarded the Nuffield Medal by the Royal College of Anaesthesia for achieving the top position in the Primary FRCA exams. Additionally, I ranked among the top ten candidates nationally for anaesthetic registrar training. Beyond my work in the NHS, I have gained valuable experience at the renowned Iron Clinic on Harley Street, specializing in women’s health and high-performance athletes.
As a practicing anaesthetist, my primary focus is on patient safety, enhancing the patient experience, and promoting overall wellbeing. I have a specialist interest in regional techniques using ultrasound and fine needling skills to ensure safe, bespoke, and precise outcomes, and I am eager to bring this expertise into the aesthetic clinic.
